How Do You Lay a Hexagon Tile?

To lay a hexagonal tile, you will need to first calculate the centre point of the tile. To do this, take the length of one side and divide it by two. This will give you the radius of the tile.

Next, using a compass or ruler, draw a circle with this radius. The six points where the circle intersects the tile's sides are the centres of each of the hexagon's six sides

Now that you have the centre point, you can begin to lay the tile. Start by placing the tile at the centre point and then work your way outwards. Make sure that each side of the hexagon is equal to the others.

Once you have laid all of the tiles, you can grout them in. Start by mixing the grout according to the manufacturer's instructions. Once it is mixed, apply it to the hexagon tiles using a rubber spatula. Wipe away any excess grout and allow it to dry.
