More Details
Heated Towel Rails are an affordable luxury for every bathroom, warming and drying your towels while adding premium appeal to your space. The Thermogroup SR4412 is a  7-bar polished stainless steel ladder rail designed for safety and efficiency. Operating at 12 volts, this electric towel dryer can be installed close to wet areas—supplied with a transformer that reduces standard 240V to 12V without compromising temperature or energy consumption. Wiring points on both left and right sides allow flexible installation at the top or bottom of the rail, though hardwiring to the transformer is required. The rail heats rapidly to 45–55°C and operates via a simple on/off switch. We recommend adding a timer to set-and-forget operation and reduce running costs—estimated at as little as $1 per week. Crafted from 304-grade stainless steel, it combines durability with the premium aesthetic look.
Product: 7 Bar Round Ladder Heated Towel Rail

Dimensions: 600mm (W) x 800mm (H) x 122mm (D)
Colour: Stainless Steel
Product Features:

  • 12-volt makes it safe to install anywhere in the bathroom, even close to the water
  • The rail is supplied with a transformer which reduces the incoming voltage from 240V to 12V. The rail will operate at the same temperature and use the same amount of electricity as an equivalent 240V rail as the wattage is the same, however, the rail is operating at a lower voltage
  • The electric towel rail is designed to rapidly heat up and reach a temperature of around 45°C to 55°C degrees
  • Constructed from quality 304-grade stainless steel material
  • The rail can operate using an on / off switch
  • Option to add a timer to choose the time when your towel rail heats up and reduces running cost if you forget to switch it off

FAQs

How much does it cost to run?
It draws 90W. At 4 hours a day and 33c/kWh that is about $0.83 a week. A timer keeps it to the hours you need.

Do I need an electrician?
Yes. 12V rails are hardwired through their transformer by a licensed electrician.

Can I use it with a timer?
Yes. Pick one above. A timer heats your towels before you shower and switches the rail off automatically. Your electrician wires the timer to the rail's transformer.

How hot does it get?
About 45–55°C: warm enough to dry towels, not too hot to touch.

Why choose a 12V rail?
12V is extra-low voltage, run through a transformer. Your electrician will confirm the best position for it in your bathroom.
