CARE AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE

Maintaining a clean and functional Baby Change Station is just a matter of a few simple
steps. Expensive cleaning agents or special equipment are not required, ordinary household
cleaners are suggested.

CHECK THE UNIT REGULARLY

Check all hardware components monthly or as required to ensure hardware is tight and
there are no missing or damaged components. Immediately take unit out of service if any
component is missing or damaged.

KEEPING THE UNIT CLEAN

• Metlam Baby Change Stations look and operate best if they are cleaned regularly;
• Dry immediately after cleaning to avoid any streaky marks;
• Wiping with a damp cloth is basically ineffective, as it can smear dirt without removing it; and;
• Routine cleaning prevents any stubborn stains building up.

RECOMMENDED CLEANING

For day to day cleaning, plenty of water, some mild detergent and a cloth or soft brush will
do the job. After washing, thoroughly rinse with clean water and wipe the surface dry with a
soft absorbent cloth.

DO NOT USE

• Chemical cleaners or cleaning agents that may be hazardous; and
• Stainless steel wool scouring pads, these will scratch the unit.
