Low-voltage 12V warmth for 1 towel for about $0.20 a week to run
Warm towels ready for your shower, and the rail switches itself off to save power.
The VS900H Thermorail vertical heated towel rail offers a practical and stylish solution for any bathroom, regardless of size. With its polished stainless steel finish, it is an ideal complement to your chrome fixtures, while providing a luxurious and affordable way to keep your towels dry.
The Thermorail vertical heated towel rails come with an optional towel hook which can be installed at the time of purchase. This hook allows for easier hanging of the towel on the vertical rail. This rail provides less surface contact than a ladder rail, and therefore is less capable of drying and warming the towel than the ladder option.
Thermorail single bar heated towel rails are all 12 volt, providing an added layer of safety in the bathroom and allowing for installation close to water. The 12 volt rails come with a transformer in the box, and the use of a timer to regulate heat output is recommended to reduce operating expenses.

Heated Towel Rails, Ladders:
How much does it cost to run?
It draws 22W. At 4 hours a day and 33c/kWh that is about $0.20 a week. A timer keeps it to the hours you need.
Do I need an electrician?
Yes. 12V rails are hardwired through their transformer by a licensed electrician.
Can I use it with a timer?
Yes. Pick one above. A timer heats your towels before you shower and switches the rail off automatically. Your electrician wires the timer to the rail's transformer.
How hot does it get?
About 50–55°C with a towel on it: warm enough to dry towels, not too hot to touch.
Why choose a 12V rail?
12V is extra-low voltage, run through a transformer. Your electrician will confirm the best position for it in your bathroom.
