Heated Towel Rails are an affordable luxury for every bathroom for warming and drying your towels. The SSB44M Heated Towel Rail is a 600x800 7 bar rail ideally sized to fit two towels. The brushed stainless finish is very similar to a brushed nickel finish and can be used to compliment your brushed nickel tapware.
The SSB44M towel heater features multiflex wiring. This means that you have a connection point on the right or left-hand side of the rail, this would be typically at the bottom but the rail can be flipped so that it is at the top and provides the option of hardwired or plugin, all as standard out of the box.
The electric towel rail is designed to rapidly heat up and reach a temperature of around 45-55 degrees. The rail can be operated using an on/off switch however we recommend using a timer to allow you to set and forget and control your running costs. As the rail is electric it is very energy efficient and can cost as little as a $1 a week to run.

How much does it cost to run?
It draws 83W. At 4 hours a day and 33c/kWh that is about $0.77 a week. A timer keeps it to the hours you need.
Do I need an electrician?
Only for a hardwired install. The plug-in option just needs a nearby power point.
Can I use it with a timer?
Yes. Pick one above. A timer heats your towels before you shower and switches the rail off automatically.
How hot does it get?
About 45–55°C: warm enough to dry towels, not too hot to touch.
