How much does it cost to run?
It draws 100W. At 4 hours a day and 33c/kWh that is about $0.92 a week. A timer keeps it to the hours you need.
Do I need an electrician?
Yes. 12V rails are hardwired through their transformer by a licensed electrician.
Can I use it with a timer?
Yes. Pick one above. A timer heats your towels before you shower and switches the rail off automatically. Your electrician wires the timer to the rail's transformer.
How hot does it get?
About 45–55°C: warm enough to dry towels, not too hot to touch.
Why choose a 12V rail?
12V is extra-low voltage, run through a transformer. Your electrician will confirm the best position for it in your bathroom.
