The SR2512B Heated Towel Rail is a budget-friendly way to bring the luxury of warm, dry towels to any bathroom space. This 550x550 4 bar ladder rail comes in a matte black finish.
SR2512B electric towel dryer operates at 12v, allowing it to be safely installed near damp areas in the bathroom. Included with the rail is a voltage-reducing transformer, which reduces 240v down to 12v—without sacrificing heat output or electrical consumption.
This 12V rail is equipped with a wiring point at both ends, allowing it to be connected to a transformer at the top or the bottom. Since the unit operates on 12 volts, it must be hardwired.
This electric towel ladder is designed to heat up quickly and reach temperatures of approximately 45-55 degrees Celsius. An on/off switch allows for easy operation, but for more energy efficiency, it is advised to utilize a timer to pre-set the heat time and minimize running costs. As the appliance uses electricity, it can maintain a low expense of about $1 a week.
